Canon
If you've purchased an ink jet printer cartridge before you already know that they are a little pricey. Actually, a little pricey is an understatement. So using refillable ink cartridges Canon can save you a pretty penny!

Honestly, refilling canon ink cartridges is not an easy task - so I don't suggest trying to refill the Canon ink catridges yourself, unless you're up for a challenge! You have to actually drill a little hole in the bottom of the cartridge so you have a hole to put the new ink in! Well, ateast you have the OPTION to fill Canon ink cartridges yourself!

Now Canon printer cartridges, like the other manufacturers, does have a small computer chip in the cartridge  that acts like the gas gauge in your car, and tells your printer how much ink is left. Unlike the other manufacturers, however, when the ink cartridge hits "zero" you can simply continue printing without having to reset the chip. Much easier in my opinion, and the best way to gauge when it's time for some new ink is by looking at the quality of the prints you're getting - because when the meter hits zero it doesn't necessarily mean that the cartridge is empty.

Take it up the street to the guys who will fill it up for you for a couple bucks or check out "Eco-InkJets." They re-manufacture Canon OEM cartridges and refill them for you. You're still going to save ALOT of money vs. buying a brand new Canon ink cartridge, plus you're saving more plastic from being dumped in our dumps!

Look into your local electronics/computer store, kiosk in your mall, or an online refiller. Do your shopping and price comparison's online.
